From the feeling that there must be more…
Hey, I’m Lara Sophie from Germany and my life looked quite different a couple years back. Wearing a police uniform and hitting up the gym in a compulsive way was my day to day business for a very long time. It all started to shift, once I realised that more tasks, fuller schedules and more distraction actually doesn’t create that ease and connection I was searching for.
The art of letting go
Step by step I found ways to connect deeper inside - less outer noise and more inner clarity. From travelling to unknown places, joining holistic Yoga Retreats, exploring Somatic Therapy and allowing myself to go out of my control = comfort zone again and again, I slowly understood what true aliveness actually feels like, and I wanted others to experience the same.
How aliveness became the medicine
Life can be so busy, so overstimulated and literally so disconnected that my intention with The Soulshine Space was to create a safe community where we can shake off stress, reconnect with our bodies and finally feel truly alive and more us again.
If we want to get really high, we have to drop everything that drowns us down… and so I did.
Quitting my job as a police officer, moving abroad to the stunning coast of Portugal and creating space for this heart-led project to be born.
Growing Community Today
The Soulshine Space is a constantly growing community, where inspiring people come together to connect inside. We feel very honored to be mentioned in Germany's biggest mindfulness magazine Happinez and their article from 02/26: “Vom Gefühl frei zu sein”.
This community is about creating the safety, trust, and space needed to move beyond survival mode and feel genuinely alive again. Every experience is designed to empower, inspire, and remind us that everything we are searching for already exists within us.
